Typical Applications :
Recommended for joining creep resistant Cr-Mo alloy plate & pipe steels with operating temperatures up to 600?C. For welding materials such as ASTM A387 Gr. 22, A335 Gr. P22, A217 Gr. WC9, 10CrMo 9-10, GS-18 CrMo 9-10, G17 CrMoV 5-10 etc. For fabrication of boilers, heat exchangers, piping systems and pressure vessels.
Characteristics :
Specifically formulated rutile type flux cored wire with 2.25Cr-1Mo weld deposit for materials subjected to high temperature creep service up to 600?C. Provides single and multiple pass welding with superior weldability in all position, low spatter, excellent slag removal and good bead finish. Greater tolerance for mill scale rust and increased deposition rate compared to covered and solid electrodes.
